Jamison Puckett turned chairs on Season 26 of “The Voice” with a soulful blind audition that stopped the room. Now, he’s bringing his voice and his faith to Mountain View for an exclusive, one-night-only concert on Saturday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m.
Hosted by First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View, this outdoor praise concert is completely free and open to all ages and faiths, promising an evening that will have audiences joyfully exclaiming, “Hallelujah!”
Attendees of all ages will be treated to complimentary snacks and refreshments as they enjoy the communal concert and inspiring testimonies alongside friends and neighbors. Tickets and reservations are not required – this event is open to all who wish to participate.
Audiences remember Puckett for his soul-stirring cover of the 1983 Journey hit “Faithfully,” a performance that showcased both the depth of his voice and the sincerity of his message. Puckett says the power of music has long guided and deepened his faith; “When we come together in music, we awaken something eternal, an unseen fabric woven through humanity that echoes the presence of God.”
A contemporary Christian artist based in Los Angeles, Puckett has built a devoted following while serving as Director of Worship at storied, celebrity-frequented Bel Air Church.
For 175 years, First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View has fostered community in the heart of Silicon Valley. Founded decades before the city itself, the church played a pivotal role in the early formation of the Mountain View community.
Can you keep a secret? FPCMV is quietly preparing a once-in-a-lifetime celebration to honor its milestone anniversary later this year. Rev. Pastor Kim Dorr-Tilley says, “When I arrived at First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View (FPCMV) in May of 2024 with a clear call from God, what emerged for me within the history of FPCMV is a story of God’s faithfulness, not only to this church but to this area. Silicon Valley is at the hinge of history right now. Isn’t it great to know that there is a loving, brilliant God who’s here? Our 175th celebration will be lots of fun, thankfulness, and rejoicing in God’s goodness. I hope you’ll join us!”
Stay tuned –– more details about the church’s historic 175th anniversary celebration will be announced very soon.
Pastor Kim is excited to welcome Jamison and his wife, Erin, another powerhouse vocalist in her own right, for what she believes will be another meaningful opportunity to bring Mountain View and neighboring communities together in fellowship. “Get ready to shout out some JOY and PRAISE with these two! Jamison’s not just an incredible musical artist, he’s a storyteller. He is masterful in ushering in the Spirit in such a way that walls fall down, hope rises, and the power of the living God is manifest,” raves Pastor Kim.
On April 25, Jamison and Erin will perform live and share their story of faith under the starry night sky in Mountain View.
ABOUT THE HOST
First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View was founded in 1851, more than 50 years before Mountain View incorporated as a city. Now celebrating its 175th anniversary, the congregation has anchored community life in Silicon Valley through fires, earthquakes, and the breadth of California history.
Music has been at the heart of this church’s worship from the beginning. The church is especially beloved in Mountain View for its bell choir, one of the few remaining in the region.
