Thank you for the holiday gifts donated so far for Hope’s Corner. Here is what we are collecting (please place all items in the boxkette in the narthex):
- New, unwrapped gifts for children aged 0-18 years
- $25 gift cards to grocery stores, Walmart, and Target (place in an envelope so they won’t get lost)
- New winter clothing for all ages (beanies, socks, jackets, gloves)
- Unopened boxes of baby diapers
- New books for children and teens.
If you are stuck for an idea, please see this Amazon gift list: Amazon Wish List. Hope’s Corner encourages local shopping, but this list can give you an idea of the types of items they’re seeking.
Once the gifts are collected, Hope’s Corner will have “shopping” days for needy families to select gifts for their children a few days before Christmas.
