Here it is! Advent is upon us! No matter what’s on your TO-DO list or how stressed you might feel about TIME… We are entering a season set apart for UTMOST JOY.
For God So Loved… is the title of our Advent sermon series. We can become so familiar with the birth narrative of Jesus that we can neglect remembering how very much God LOVED each and every person – Mary, Joseph, each shepherd, all three kings – and so many more that are part of the Christmas story.
Ask a friend or family member if they feel loved by God. If they hesitate or don’t feel this love, offer to bring them to church and buy ‘em lunch! Ask them to trust you in bringing them into the center of God’s love for them in Jesus Christ. Ask if they are ready to have their life changed through the Good News that they are beloved.
