We believe Christ has created First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View to be a joyful, caring community demonstrating Christ's love through transformed lives.

Our Mission:

We believe Christ has called First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View to invite people into a life changing relationship with the living Jesus Christ and equip them to extend God's love to the world. Supporting this mission, FPC MV encourages and provides for Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship, Stewardship, and Outreach.

Our Goals:

We believe Christ is directing First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View to aim at these goals:

• Worship: to conduct worship that enables a diverse Christian family to encounter and exalt the Lord with all our heart, mind and life.

• Discipleship: to maintain a climate that encourages and assists Christians in life long spiritual growth.

• Fellowship: to create places to belong where individuals experience joyful, prayerful, and supportive friendships in the family of God.

• Stewardship: to recognize, develop, and share the gifts God gives to all to make a difference for Christ in our world.

• Outreach: to shape our congregational life and programs to reach churchless people with the hope of Christ.
