Joy is a beautiful word that seems to bring a smile in saying it. As God’s people, we know that Jesus is the source of our joy. We have the deep and abiding joy of being loved by God through Jesus. King David wrote, “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11).
Our stewardship emphasis this month will encourage us to experience the joy that God gives us through our generosity in sharing with others and extending his kingdom.

The practice of generosity describes the Christian’s unselfish willingness to give in order to make a positive difference for the purposes of Christ.”
