Craig joined the Church in February 2015. He wears many hats in the FPCMV music ministry, directing the Music Ministry as well as leading the Praise Band and the Son Ringers. Craig began playing music at age 8, and immediately fell in love with the art. He has experience in classical music, both on and off the podium, playing and singing with various ensembles for more than a decade. He has performed with several local bands, playing a variety of instruments and covering a wide range of styles, enhancing his approach to the music program here at First Presbyterian.
Craig currently studies at San José State University, majoring in Music Composition and Education. He sings with the San José State Choraliers and Concert Choir under Dr. Jeffrey Benson, as well as one of the a capella groups on campus. He brings with him a desire and drive for musical and emotional expression in worship music.
“Praise the LORD with melodies on the lyre; make music for him on the ten-stringed harp.” (Psalm 33:2)
